The LDG Z-817 is an external automatic antenna tuner covering 1.8-54 MHz. Designed specifically for use with the Yaesu FT-817 and FT-817ND (but will work with with any QRP rig), it features one-button tuning of any coax-fed antenna with an SWR range within 10:1. The tuner has over 2000 memory channels for instant recall of tuner settings. Latching relays are used so there is no power consumption once tuning operations are completed. Powred by four AA Alkaline cells (not included), which should last about a year under normal conditions. The optional RBA-1:1 balun allows tuning of longwire and ladder line antennas as well. Includes a 12" CAT cable for connection to the radio (the tuner has a CAT pass-trough port on the back panel), and a 12" coaxial jumper. Covered by LDG's Two-Year Warranty!
